Excellent and couldn’t agree more. We miss him terribly. His eye for detail was extraordinary, and ruthless. He personally checked the spot list for TV campaigns and questioned why the same launch spots were running in the same shows every week for four weeks. It was he who decided why pay for several hundred average billboard locations when one tailor made unique unit in a highly prestigious location was worth infinitely more, at every level. Nothing escaped his scrutiny, intelligence and passion, not even his media buys.
Thank you - I've heard the same stories from friends in the industry who were on the Apple account in the noughties - he was always laser focused on how Apple's brand showed up and took the same care with their media plans as he did with their products.
